No Title...

I don't feel like writing tonight. Still got that two term papers to be handed over within two weeks time, so that wore me out already...oh well. I think I'll let the pictures do the talking.
These are what I can see from my study desk....

DSC_1517That not so friendly, demonic looking device is a sandwich maker. Yep, the one that serves you well in the morning for a quick breakfast. The look sorts of asking, "Mau makan, or mau kena makan???? Huh? What? Mau kena makan????"

DSC_1521Ayie brought his D40 tonight. So I made it mine...for around 20 minutes, enough for me to fool around, stalking, snapping, do stuffs...

That's the mini optical Mouse I use for my laptop. We also have laser mouse these days. Much better in term of reliability and performance. Usually, I just use the touch pad and hotkeys...

These are the scene I see every nights....

The view is much better during the dawn. Another reason for me to wake up early in the morning :)

Just to make things a bit dramatic...

Amateurish, I know...the second picture, I was about to try 'Bokeh' technique. But got no subject.....

The others are just plain light trail technique, with photographer in motion, not the subject.

Superb pictures here.

Uncleawang,
Waalaikumussalam uncle. And hey, don't thank me. Good pictures deserves good credit alright :)
Taking night pictures would be best with tripod. But semalam dia tak bawak la pulak haha.
Owh, you're flying here again? Cool :) Well, the time doesn't sounds right, maybe I am already at Kuantan. But hey, the distance ain't that far. Just tell me earlier so I can plan it right :D
Hahaha, window shopping on DSLR lenses, not everyone will enjoy that. But I am pretty sure we will.
There's one cool camera shop in AmCorp Mall. Not very sure the shop lot, but if I am not mistaken, Ayie got his polarizer, Hoya branded, cheaply there. Other hotspot, I am not very sure where.
Have a nice day.

izzahismail,
Hehehe me too :D For now, I can only drool, but I am eyeing on EOS400D. But I guess it will be outdated in the future...
You have a good evening ya.

I used to play with my camera and did try the light trail trick. Love the effect but cannot find where the pictures now. My friends and I snapped lots of pictures at the KLCC park. We just hanging out with each other just before most of my friends fly oversea. Thanks for bring back the memory. hehe. Dari senja sampai malam ktowang lepak kat situ. Tak berpaedah langsung. haha

May 7, 2008 7:14 PM

Owh And I did visit UncleAwang's Shoot from your link. His pictures are brilliant!

cekmi,
Really? You're an ex student?
If I am not mistaken, you're crazy about camera too right? Heheh, do teach me a thing or two, sifu :P
Have a nice evening ya. I'm going down to get my dose of rice, ikan kering and budu hahaha...

bluecrystaldude,
Light trail trick is quite easy if you have tripod. The main trick is to make sure that the camera is not moving, or even shaking.
Glad I remind you the that beautiful moment you had there. KLCC is indeed one of the best place to hang out at, especially the park. But at night, I guess the main attraction is of course the fountain lah kan. Especially when you got your friends, the fooling around thingy is just not going to stop hehehe.
Heh, told ya, his pictures are superb. The camera is one thing, but what matter the most is the one who is behind the camera :)
....but I still want a DSLR alright! hehehe. I am drooling over EOS 400D.
Have a nice evening dude :)

Akmal,
Great photographs from a great cameraman with a great camera.
We both are yearning for a DSLR. My dream is only the Sony Alpha 350 that comes with an extra telephoto lens. Though it doesnt really cost a limb, I have other priorities at the moment. Hopefully I will get it before my next holidays overseas early next year.

Pak Zawi,
Other priority, that is. In my case, it might cost me my neck hahaha :D My medical books for the undergraduate program.
Sony Alpha? Good camera indeed. It is not of the entry level, if I am not mistaken.
Sounds like an adventure coming up next year, yes? I wonder where :)
Have a nice day.

May 7, 2008 10:43 PM

Akmal you're so funny! :D I want a demon sandwichmaker too! We only have a toaster in my dorm, one that's so tame and amiable, it looks as if its merely saying, "good morning, ladies. How would you like your toast served this morning?" in a stiff, upper-crust accent.

Those pictures look REALLY familiar, heheh ;-) I guess you're enjoying the view from your new mahallah, huh? But I'm sure the view from ABC wasn't that bad, if you know what I mean ;-) Oooh, I atually kinda miss PJ. The campus, I mean, not the people. Hahaha! Just kidding.

May 8, 2008 4:30 PM

anisah shurfa,
Aaahhh, my bookaholic friend, who lent me the the final dose of Harry Potter last semester (i made it double dose hahaha) :D
You see, that toaster belongs to Zulfikry the guy from Sungai Plong. Your toaster sounds nicer, but I have to say this; less adventurous hahaha :P
Ow yes, I am enjoying the new view; especially the in the morning. Gave me the whole reason to wake up earlier, pray, watch the sky, and get back to sleep for a while hahaha.
ABC wasn't that bad? Excuze me! Hahaha. Oh well, I am glad those pictures invoked some memories in you.
Have a nice day.

Hey Akmal,

I know just the word to describe what you are feeling...

JADED...

Don't worry! We all feel it, at some time or another...

Hope you feel more 'normal' soon...

=)

May 8, 2008 10:40 PM

Daphne,
Ahah! That's the word! Sounds so majestic, yet depressing...
Oh well, you said it. We all feel it, one time or another. As long as people don't screw up on that, it's cool :)
Hope this weekend promises me normality of all kinds...nah! Hahaha.
Have a nice weekend ahead Daph :)

May 9, 2008 12:28 AM

that sandwich maker memang nampak evil la...hehe. agak2 dia boleh transform tak?

May 9, 2008 9:49 AM

KC,
Heheh I know, but we still make good toasted bread out of it, and it tastes nice, crispy, and all that. Who said evil thing can't do stuffs great? :D
Transform? Like transformers you mean? Belum lagi, pasal tak bertembung dengan AllSpark lagi. Kalau boleh transform, agak-agak dia akan sandwich muka semua roommate saya la kot hahaha :)
Have a nice day kc.

Salam Akmal,
A good camera that D40, and brother MS can vouch for that. However the EOS400D is another good camera and have more megapixels.

May 10, 2008 6:59 AM

Pak Zabs,
Good camera indeed, D40. Basically, I tried the features packed in that little machine, and I am impressed (although my knowledge in DSLR is shallow). DSLR is cundled with all features you wanted in entry level.
EOS400D is of the same level. More megapixel, with 10mp, should be a bit byte hogging and bigger in dimension.
Have a nice weekend.

May 10, 2008 7:24 AM

care to be my photographer akmal? u like to snap and i like to pose...:D

have a nice weekend!

May 10, 2008 1:40 PM

Kak Waliz,
Sounds fair and square to me hehehe :D Let's see...Beach scenes cool?
You have a nice weekend too.
